Arid, Regular, and Wet plots

Official information

The August 4 development update describes three plot types: Arid, Regular, and Wet. Seeds have plot compatibility requirements. Wet plots do not require watering.

Planting areas have fixed sizes rather than an unrestricted field grid. Available actions depend on the tool you are holding, your stamina, and whether a seed is compatible with a plot.

Plot typeConfirmed detail
AridDry, higher ground. Only certain crops can grow here.
RegularThe most common type, with the largest space for ordinary crops.
WetSupports crops suited to a river environment. No watering required.
